The 75,000 square foot Tallyn’s Reach Municipal Center in eastern Aurora houses a library, fire station, and police station. Trails and parks define the municipal center as the focal point of this mixed-use neighborhood. The rustic character of materials echos the traditional mountain lodge design while the execution of details undermine the expected structural meaning of traditional lodge design.
