The name Chord comes from aviation. In aerodynamics, the chord is the imaginary straight line between the leading edge and trailing edge of an airplane wing.
For Rob Forslund, our CEO and Managing Principal, aviation has been a lifelong influence. He grew up at the Tulsa airport watching planes with his father and brother, building model airplanes, spending time in hangars, and developing a lasting respect for the systems, discipline, and precision behind flight.
That idea became the foundation for Chord: the path of least resistance from concept to completion.
