Much of our work comes through referrals, repeat clients, and long-term relationships. That trust is built through the way we lead projects, support clients, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and protect the quality of the work from early planning through construction.
Rob Forslund | CEO & Managing Principal
With more than 25 years of architectural experience, Rob leads the firm’s business development, client relationships, project strategy, design direction, and technical standards.
His approach is shaped by formal architectural training, structural understanding, and hands-on construction experience. Rob holds a professional degree in architecture, minored in structural engineering, and has worked in various construction trades, giving him a practical understanding of how buildings are designed, coordinated, and built.
Aviation has also shaped the way Rob thinks. He grew up at the Tulsa airport watching planes with his father and brother, building model airplanes, and spending time in hangars. As an adult, he became a private pilot and continues to share his love of aviation with his family.
That lifelong interest in flight, systems, precision, and problem-solving directly influenced the name and philosophy of Chord.
In aerodynamics, the chord is the imaginary straight line between the leading edge and trailing edge of an airplane wing. To Rob, it represents the most efficient path forward — a disciplined route from vision to built reality.
Today, that idea guides the way Chord works: thoughtful architecture, careful coordination, and a process clients can trust.
